Law Of Demeter (LoD): "An object should have minimal knowledge (dependencies) of other objects; corollaries are "closer is better" and "need to know".

This axiom from Buddhist Economics (BE) is an LoD example:

"production from local resources for local needs is the most rational way of economic life, while dependence on imports from afar and the consequent need to produce for export to unknown and distant peoples is highly uneconomic and justifiable only in exceptional cases"

LoD is the antithesis of globalism. Compare today's corporate ES&G policies ("Environmental, Social, and Governance") to Buddhist Economics and you might see ES&G as a corrupted version of BE which serves corporate interests.

My concept of Impedance Matched Token (IMT) is also an LoD derivative.

BE and ES&G are abstract concepts. IMT is a tangible monetary framework which embodies the Law of Demeter, so it's complementary to BE and ES&G and enforces similar goals using financial transactions. Monetary reality shapes resource use and efficiency. The Age Of Fiat created enormous dysfunctionality and dislocation of resources which will likely reverse soon.

Do you see it? In 2007 I tried to ignite Buddhist Economics as the viable path and had some success but it didn't reach a critical mass. I was too uncertain, too lackadaisical. This past two years promoting IMT are a repeat but in a more tactical manner with more determination.

My Most Audacious Hack - 2007
In 2005, I was monitoring the housing industry for recession indicators and in December the home inventory trendline reversed due to a sales slowdown, a strong indicator. So I expected a recession soon. Naomi Klein released “The Shock Doctrine” in 2007 and I realized her concept of economic shock was

TLDR review: Globalism flourished in this era of fiat money, as governments copiously printed money to disguise the true cost of products. It's not a coincidence that the greatest increase of global trade is concurrent with the greatest increase of fiat money.

The end of fiat is probably the end of globalism, or a drastic redefining of it.
