SB 1552 - Connecticut Senate (2025) - Open States
Details on Connecticut SB 1552 (Connecticut 2025 Regular Session) - An Act Promoting The Ownership And Use Of Gold And Silver In The State And Establishing The Connecticut Bullion Depository And The Gold Start Savings Program.

This is a strange one. Blue State. It suddenly sprang out of the finance committee after the tariffs began. Almost all bullion depository bills were submitted by a specific legislators, then move to committee review. And most 2025 bills are Red States which previously submitted a bill or received the gold token paper.

I sent the paper to Ray Dalio (Westport, CT) twice in 2024, mostly as an experiment. And I did a Hartford project in 2011 so a couple locals know my name. But otherwise it has a mysterious feel. Most States have a traceable history of precious metal champion legislators like Dorazio in Texas.
