Looks like the Federal defunding of California has begun. Newsom's threat to withhold Federal taxes is a hollow bluff, the State government would collapse in short order because CA's net Federal take is at least $10 billion per month.

I told you these clowns were headed over a cliff six months ago. Hubris is the deadliest sin because it often masquerades as virtue and these circus clowns are marinated in hubris.

It's an odd dichotomy that the States most dependent on Federal funding (and most likely to get cut) have been the least receptive to my State Token platform. I chalk it up to either arrogance or denial of their situation but I imagine several blue States might now submit a gold/token platform bill for the 2026 session so I started pelting a few with my token paper.
