My mom died one year ago, after seven years with me. Every few months a new challenge popped up like her dentist canceling due to insurance risk, cataract surgery, figuring out women's clothes and shoe sizes, diapers, bed sores, etc, etc, etc. I'm pretty sure she would have died sooner in a rest home, though, and she had peace of mind with me, although she bit me a few times towards the end.
So I have almost no obligations now. Last night I was aggressively pursued by an attractive woman half my age. It still happens two or three times per year, although it's usually a money/security thing.
She wrote it off as ED and I didn't bother to argue. The truth is that I see attractive women now as I see Treasury bonds... interesting to watch but high risk, low reward and I'd rather buy a new gun or gold eagle anyway.
The one reliable constant is human weakness. People will always find a way to cheat, regardless of a "hard-coded limit of 21 million" bitcoins. It's harder to cheat gold.
