Details on Texas HB 1056 (Texas 89th Legislature (2025)) - Relating to the issuance of gold and silver specie and the establishment of a currency based on gold and silver; authorizing a fee.
Added 80 cosponsors a couple of weeks ago, which is 56% of the House and it's a bipartisan mix. I don't see how it doesn't advance to the Senate. Just released a committee report, I imagine mostly for the Senate.
plus... it's Texans. They been working on this for ten years.
