Joe Rogan dethroned by anti-Trump podcast in the charts
Rogan slips into second spot, as the MeidasTouch Podcast becomes the country’s most downloaded and listened-to show this month.

Newsweek reports that MeidasTouch, a progressive news site, beat out Joe Rogan this week for the top spot at Spotify with 58 million views.

I don't believe it. It's easy to game view statistics, I could write a script in a day which generates millions of view hits. Compare the signature of a natural meme versus an overdriven (fake) meme:

Thunberg and Memetic Manipulation
Memes have velocity, amplitude and duration. Natural memes are an S-curve, like this graph of the “Supernatural” television series: Look at this Greta Thunberg meme. There’s no growth phase, it’s just instantly everywhere at a huge amplitude. Now look at the past 24 hours. The growth phase is 14 hours

Let's take a closer look at MeidasTouch. Like most progressive MSM sites, it had a 50% drop in interest after the Nov 5th election. So there's monetary motive for fraud. And look, their traffic rockets back even higher than Nov. 5th. Really?

How many MSM sites gained more audience?

Compare MeidasTouch to some amusing, but dead memes... Whitney Houston and Beanie Babies. Yikes, not so good.

Okay, not a good place to suddenly shoot to the #1 spot. The Beanie Baby graph is troubling. Somehow Meidas beat EVERYBODY ELSE on Spotify while barely reaching Beanie Baby level of interest. Hmmm.

History of Joe Rogan vs MeidasTouch. This week is a huge anomaly in this five-year history.

The view distribution is a bit odd.

Montana population: 1.13 million
Vermont population: 700K
Rhode Island population: 1.1 million
Oregon population: 4.2 million
Minnesota population: 5.7 million

Total: 12.83 million. Rogan's audience is more equally distributed across the fifty States. Given the current political circumstances, plus a 50% collapse in views and advertising income, I suspect fraud.

I'm calling it as the same old Lefty playbook, manipulating perception to create a reality of "massive outrage against Trump", perhaps in collusion with Spotify, Demcast or similar org. I've only seen massive outrage from ex-employees in Washington, D.C. There's not much impact on most other people.

Not a fan of Palantir CEO but I agree with his assessment... the Far Left is self destructing from their own hubris.

Tesla Blues
A sad Tesla protest in Austin Texas by seventeen people who can’t afford one anyway.
50501 Protest
Quick quasi-statistical analysis of the 50501 protest against Trump. Pretty dismal turnout.
