HB 302 - New Hampshire House (2025) - Open States
Details on New Hampshire HB 302 (New Hampshire 2025 Regular Session) - relative to enabling the state treasury to invest in precious metals and digital assets.

The legislature shot down my gold token paper two years ago but back then maybe they thought it was too complex plus they were gonna get big piles of money from President Kamala. I mostly don't care except the vote was 16-0, despite the rather obvious trend graphs. I imagine the discussion was something like:

"This is just some hacker dude. There's not even footnotes and he's got no PhD letters after his name. I never saw him on tv."

It sort of validates my declining opinion of people and one reason I avoid Blue States and the general public. But hey, now they're safely piling their pension money into Bitcoin!

"That was EASY'" - old Staples slogan.

I suspect I get the last laugh in 2026. I'm at 50/50 odds that Blackrock will get Bitcoin into the "too big to fail" category, then discard the consensus/mining mechanism and remove the coin limit. 99% of Bitcoin holders wouldn't know the difference. I'm sure a few Blackrock ghouls have their eye on that $20 billion in energy costs to basically run a random number generator and it will be $40 billion by the next halving. Big bonus waiting there, boys!
