The Bitcoin mempool hasn't worked as intended since November of 2023. It's becoming a dead-letter queue instead of a queue. chuckle.gif

If you can't see the trend here, the red line is "higher lows" pattern. My guess is that they made some protocol changes for better buffering but Bitcoin is probably losing over 1% of its transactions now because it's still over-subscribed. The network can't handle the traffic, regardless of how it is sliced and diced.
