ASD

ASD - Autistic Spectrum Disorder. This is how it manifests sometimes:

"Finger biting can be a common behavior among children with autism, often stemming from sensory needs, stress, or a way to express frustration."

An interviewer once asked me, "How can you become a better coder?" and because I had pondered that, I answered honestly... "By hand-writing less code" and of course that was the end of the interview.

In 2013 I developed my own concept of Ruby on Rails: the Model-Driven Node, a sophisticated code generator which is anathema to insecure developers. Skim through that if you want an idea of how much I really know about software.

Another interviewer warned me that "NFTs are brand new technology and I'm not sure you can handle them". No, fuckstick, they're not new, they were called micropayments in the 1990s. NFTs are prepaid micropayments and Websphere Commerce Suite has more parts than an aircraft craft carrier. Just another 30yo that knows a great deal about not very much.

So, in another ironic twist, I'm probably better prepared for the AI paradigm than most coders half my age. I have no ego investment in optimized "for" loops, worked with large-scale code generation and am comfortable with delegating to ChatGPT, it's better than 98% of the Indians I managed in 2008 and it deceives me a bit less.

Maybe 100%.
